The Apollo SL40 is a big step forward compared to the equivalent King/Narco
VHF. As well as being very compact it has the following attributes:-
1. A good quality VOX intercom is included within the unit.
2. It is able to monitor the standby frequency (useful for copying ATIS
etc)
3. As well as frequency presets it automatically remembers the last 8
frequencies used.
4. Most functions like squelch are fully adjustable via subroutines on the
front panel.
