You can use a 2 " Al strip which wraps around the central tube then around 
one cable to pull it in. 
Sliding it fore an after adjusts the tension. Weighs next to nothing and can 
even be pushed up and down with a pole through the "D" if you need to change 
it.   I was only interested in one side to get centering.  You would need two 
for full tension adjustment.
