RE: Europa-List: Ventilators

To All:

The Ultimate Ventilator I have on my website ceased production in December
2017. I have no idea who the manufacturer was.

I have just tried the Vista Vent as some of you have, and am concerned. Th
ey are large and if pulled down will stress the plexi vent and I=92m afraid
 it will eventually fail.

It is hot here in Florida and I am stuck. Snap vents are cheap, Vista has
me worried, and it looks like quick ventilation fixes for guys that come in
dying in the heat are over. I=92ve just ordered the cheap snap vents and
will look before I leap on these.

Last thing I want to do is invent another thing.

Best Regards,

Bud Yerly

I don=92t have experience with the Vista vents, but the Ultimate vents I ha
ve installed are easily done and are troublefree.
A word about placement. I installed mine just below the windscreen quarter
and I recommend installing them in the windscreen quarter. I have flown b
oth installations and the performance of the windscreen quarter units is fa
r superior.
The windscreen installed vents allow air to directly vent to the face, whil
e installing them just below the windscreen is less direct. The difference
 is significant.
Hold your mouth correctly and use a sharp hole saw.
Ask Bud.
