William.  If you were to compare the volume /weight removed between 
=C2=BC=9D hole to a =C2=BD=9D  hole the difference would be 
huge. So small bits but often is the order of the plan. Then you have to 
fill the holes with some foam and glass it over and repaint . Quite a 
lot of patience needed  to complete it !

Dear all


I drilled a 1/4 hole in each aileron weight with very little effect.  
The hinges are free amd i dont think im doing anything wrong.


Is this normal?  What next?  1/2" hole?
