Hi Roland,  the (revised) brake caliper position was covered in the factory tech
talk issue 22 on page 13.  Attached is a copy of the page.  I bought a new 
mounting
bracket from the factory some years ago to replace the original design
on my classic.  Five minute job (almost) to replace it and it saves carving 
holes
in the wheel well sides! Cheers!
