William-

If I was doing it now, it would be a Dynon Skyview. As is, I have two of the
older
Dynons in the plant and they are great. The reason I went this route is their
reputation for reliability and ease of installation. One significant issue:
Don't forget a cooling fan, maybe two of them!

I have used them for support a couple of times and they are very helpful.

Hi all again

I am going to update the panel of G-WUFF. At the same time I will change the
engine from 912ul to 912uls, and fit a Woodcomp VP prop with
Smartcontroller. At present it has analogue gauges for electrical system,
oil temp and pressure, coolant temp, temp of a single cylinder.
Quite a few Europa's have undergone this type of alteration so hopefully
there is some experience out there.
What engine monitoring is really needed for the 912uls? I know that in depth
engine monitoring is possible with electronic displays - but does it have
any major advantages for a fairly well understood and reliable engine?
If using electronic flight instruments, is a 4 inch screen adequate? - or is
a 7 inch screen much easier to use?
Are there any recent flight test reviews of the different systems?
How do users find the Dynon equipment?
Is it simpler to buy an integrated system of engine monitoring, flight
instruments, fuel managment, GPS, etc? Or is it easy enough to purchase the
individual bits and link them oneself?

Thats enough for starters!

Thanks

William Bliss
