Hi Graeme,

congrats to this big moment.
On my Europa classic I had the same problem with the radiator hose to close to
the exhaust.
The hose broke one due to the high temperature.
The owner before then used some heat shield material, zhe same as used on the 
firewall.
That worked so far but I now replaced the hose with a alloy pipe but have not 
been
airborne jet.
The Rotax installation book recommends this too.
