We wish to express our great appreciation to the Europa Club for arranging
the successful fly-in at Popham last week-end. The pig roast was delicious,
the refreshments plentiful, and the whole setting at the old airfield with
all the picknickers and planespotters was quite a unique experience for us.
First and foremost, however, the fly-in was a great opportunity to meet old
friends and make new ones.
The flight back to Norway was uneventful, and the weather beautiful. What a
sight it is to fly along the English coast with the white cliffs and green
fields behind, and later over the Dutch and German North Sea islands and
shallow waters!
Thank you very much, Europa Club, for hosting the event and for all that you
do for the Europa community.
