I did contact Jiri regarding the use of the 3000/3W with a 912S and here is his
response
"Dear Malcolm,
I recommend you to use the three bladed propeller type SR 3000/3 - diameter
1650mm.
We made the special propeller for David - it means the SR 3000/3W - diameter
1650mm
but it works on the 914turbo only. David prefered the twisted blades due
to high altitude flying.
Double bladed propeller type SR 3000/2W - but the diameter 1650mm - I dont have
any experience with this shorter diameter.
Could you contact our UK partner Mr Kevin Dilks, please ?

I don't understand why the 3W would not work with the 912S and also the
reference
to Dave's high altitude flying but there you go, Im still pondering.
thoughts anyone?
