Hi John,

It is compulsory in Germany to have a fuel pressure warning of some sort. I have
one from a Katana which is just a switch and light.
You would have noticed any restriction in the fuel system on your takeoff run 
where
you require the highest flow. It certainly gets your attention when it comes
on!!
