Rick,
Years ago I was able to bring my fuselage kit home in a long
wheelbase van. However I removed the LH passenger seat before starting
(It was designed for easy removal). I had the tail hard up against the
dashboard and the rear doors not quite closed and tied together with
rope. The boxed parts went behind the driver's seat. Gear changing was a
little difficult as I remember.

My fuselage kit is ready for collection from the factory (at last!)
and I was planning to hire a van to go and get it. However, I'm not
sure if it will fit any van that is readily available for hire. Karen
at the factory reckoned that the fuselage is around 16 feet long, which
would be just a bit too long for a long-wheelbase Transit-type van.
Does anyone have any recommendations for suitable vehicles?
