My Classic Europa G-EIKY first flew in July 1997 and has over 840 hours. The
port
inboard aileron hinge is particularly worn and the other hinges are less so.
I'm keen to avoid having to drill out and disbond the halves of each hinge which
attaches to the aileron itself.
I've heard of a fix involving teflon sleeving and stainless steel pins and would
like to learn more about this, or any other safe fixes.
