Hi Fred,
Attached is a photo of the changed rudder and a PDF-file of that Luxeon
LED
light (very bright).
When I decided using LED wing Nav lights I did not like to use a
standard
bulb light for the tail. I found this LED solution and it was quite easy
to
make.
I bonded an aluminium tube in the rudder sized so that the aluminium
cooling
body of the LED fits easily and shaped a flange for the retainer ring
with
the 140=B0 of an used Wheelen (or whatever) tail light. The electronic
to this
LED light is embedded in resin with two mounting lugs which I screwed on
a
second aluminium bus plate, which is installed underneath of the baggage
bay
and will be also used for the strobe lights, the wing lights and the
door
security switches..
Regards,
Bruno

Hi Bruno,
Your tail light looks intriguing...could you post a photo showing it
from
the side?
Thanks,
Fred
