You can kill 2 birds with one stone here.  The bottom door sill is not very
stiff.  Going in and out you tend to bend and stress it with your butt.  If
you make up a flat layup of about 4 layers and make a triangular gusset
tunnel under the door sill moulding you get a good raceway to run the 
wires and  stiffen up the  door sill immensly.  Run power on passenger side
and  Rf on pilot side or visa  versa.
