The more general observation is that the Europa is fine as an IFR
platform. I hand flew from New York to Lakeland, FL for SnF 2005 totally
IFR, either under the hood or in IMC. I have roll trim in addition to pitch.
Did not feel the need for the autopilot at all. This is in contrast to my
limited experience in RV 6-8s which are quite fun but more twitch I
think in pitch without an autopilot.
