I know that it is a fantastic experience to see your ship take to the air
for the first time. Handling it for the first time is the next great moment
and ,as you say, not far away.

I am proud to announce that G-CHOX took to the skies at Blackbushe at 3pm on
Thursday 20th December for its maiden flight in the very capable hands of
Pete Jeffers. The viz was very poor so we had to be content with a couple of
circuits. No major problems experienced.
Kit 566 has taken 5 years to build and I must thank my co builders Ian
Swankie and more recently Goff Moore for tolerating my moods. Also thanks to
Ian Rickard, an invaluable source of help and remedies, Terry Clark for
being himself, Barry Goldsack our always obliging instructor and Pete
Jeffers, our test pilot who oozes confidence.
Just another 4.75 hours before we get a go!
