Taking a large dose of guessing juice...

It looks like he's done what many folks do - cut the slots for the trim
system according to the lines on the moulding. He's then found out they are
in the wrong place, so he's glassed over the slots and started again.

It looks to me like he's made a jig that replicates the movement of the
trim-tab drive and he's using that to manufacture the slots precisely. An
interesting approach, and certainly worthwhile, I'd have thought, if one was
making many Europae (e.g. Flightcrafters). As mine was purely a one-off I
achieved it simply by careful manual sanding - takes longer to do, but the
extra was less than the time to make the jig.

Regards,
Jeremy

Hi all,
I made an enquiry here recently and didn't get a response, so I'll have
another go... This unknown builders website http://www.antsol.com/
continues to be updated with an interesting story of images, but what is on
earth is being done on the pitch linkage on the latest photos? I don't
recall doing this!!
