My thanks to all those that helped by manning the Europa Stand and Composite
demonstrations area at Flying for Fun last weekend.
The factory were very appreciative of your efforts as was Cliff Piper who
co-ordinates all the activities in the Home build Tent.
This year we did fewer epoxy demonstrations due mainly to the conducted
tours for children. It seemed wise not to have items being made, and wet
epoxy about, when the groups arrived every few minutes. If we have the
tours next year then the answer may be to have more helpers on the stand
during this period.
I still have a couple of ready made throttle boxes available if anyone want
to avoid making their own. Offers over GBP 10.00 (proceeds to Club funds)
will be considered.
If anyone has, or has seen, an F23 (Fuel inlet cover moulding) which has
been cut lengthways please let me know. This item, belonging to a member,
was there to be modified and disappeared during the show. At GBP 45.00,
this is an expensive item to have disappear and the owner would greatly
appreciate its return.
