After 4 years in the build, Paul Peregrym's beautiful XS Mono, C-GPHP, left
the surly bonds of earth for the first time today (January 19, 2004). The 30
min. flight took place at Abbotsford airport piloted by Peter Timm in cool,
calm weather.

The aircraft flies like a dream and displayed the well known, excellent
Europa handling characteristics. Before the next flight, Paul plans to back
up the turnbuckles on the tail wheel springs because tracking after touch
down was a bit squirrelly. Also exhaust fumes in the cockpit will need to
be addressed. Otherwise, there were no bad tendencies to report.

Named 'Snowgoose', Paul's plane has a decal of it's namesake decorating fin
and rudder designed by wife, Hazel and looks as sharp as it flies. Paul has
produced a first class airplane and it was a privilege to be invited to
perform the first flight honors. We wish him many rewarding flying hours
ahead.
