Steve, I don't have any advance on soap and water, but would urge you to be
very thorough with it, as the release agent contains at least one highly
allergenic substance. Iwent through my whole build process being fairly
casual with the sanding of newly laid fibre glass, without any reaction but
developed a severe allergic lung reaction, (needing a couple of months of
steroid treatment), when I came to sand the moulded sufaces prior to gel
coating them. My chest disease colleague told me that release agents are
