The W18 plate on the root rib is already in place, at least it was on mine.
I don't know if there are different versions. There are two W18 plates in
the
outer location.What you may be looking at for
to two outer plates in the drawing on page 8-14 is the plywood spacer that
is bonded in place after the epoxy on the W18 plates cure. The W18 plates
do indeed go as the manual states, the joggles help with location. Also
look
at Fig 6 on page 8-4.
