trailers were not available in the US. This surprised me, as I have had
trailers in stock for the last 3 months, and have always been able to order
them here.

When setting your tufnol bearings, the distance between the two torque tubes
at the rear is critical. It did not say "critical" in the manual page 13-6
of jan 1996, but the distance apart must match exactly the distance apart
of the connections on the factory made pitch torque tube and that yu will
will come to soon. Then you will see that there is only tiny tolerance
between the rivets in the CS07's and the pitch push rods so your riveting of
the CS07's needs to be correct too. I got my torque tubes about 1/8 inch too
far apart and did not find out find out until later when installing the push
rods through their middles. That is when I found out that the rivets in the
CS07's would touch on the pitch push rods preventing full and clear
operation. so I had to go back and change the distance and t hen relieve the
tufnol at the front to line it up again.
Get the distance between the two torque tubes at the rear exactly right the
first time!
