Folks,
thankfully so far nothing has happened to cause concern, but
nevertheless i think its a good idea that attempts are made to limit large
spaces port side from which exhaust gases get into the cabin due to the
position of the exhaust pipe.
An idea that can be used to limit entry via the flap travel hole can be seen
in vehicles with automatic transmission. The gear lever has a plastic cover
that moves the length of the slot otherwise covering up the open slot . I
intend to use this method to seal the pitch trim and flap holes.
