Hi Folks,
some one asked about the aileron trim. I'm installing an
electrical motor driven aileron trim. I bought the kit from Bob jacobson, $70
plus shipping. Superb kit...can be seen Bob's europa( www.galaxyhobby.com) .
Wrote to Andy at europa, but they don't have an approved aileron trim for the
europa.
Thursday i spoke to Francis Donaldson at the pfa who agreed that its a good
idea to have one should you have a heavy passenger, but advices that the
motor should be mounted closer to the leading edge before attaching the mass
balances. He asked me to send him a drawing of my intentions and he will
approve it. So my inspector and i are going to have details of the trim
aileron together with other mods ( intercooler, door gas strut hinges) sent
off for approval.....Watch this space!!!

   regards Karim.
