This is why the operation of even domestic radio receivers in aircraft is
illegal without approval from the CAA.  To gain that approval you must
demonstrate that the radiation from the (mainly) antenna is below certain
limits, which I forget.

So keep your eyes peeled for the blue flashing light at 6,000ft.
