On the Learning Channel, at least here in the States at 9 eastern, see
our very entertaining local hero, Chuck Slusarczyk (CGS Aviation)
battle Barnaby Wainfan in building a junkyard glider.
I won't say who won, but according to Chuck, you'll see a contest
between Barnaby's computer-modeled design and his eyeball method from
when he built and flew these things as a "hippy" teenager. He says
also that his glider would have went much further had the producers
permitted him to, but they're very safety conscious.
