This is probably teaching grandma to suck eggs for many but for those who
haven't yet stumbled on it as I did, a The FAA produce a very useful
Advisory Circular on "Acceptable Methods, Techniques, and Practices for
Aircraft Inspection and Repair". It covers a huge amount of "how to"
information for builders ranging from methods for swaging Nicopress sleeves
to torque settings for various bolt and nut combinations. It also has a lot
of stuff less useful for Europans such as application of dope to fabric
coverings.
