A recently released Service Bulletin requires that Rotax 912/912S/914 engines
fitted with single valve springs will need the valve spring retainers replacing.
The owners of any engines affected, which were supplied by Europa, will be
contacted soon with more details.
Europa Aircraft will be able to carry out the work on those engines which are in
the UK - the work has to be done by trained engineers, and one of our staff has
been on a training course this week. However the parts required will not be
available until the middle of April, so please don't inundate us with enquiries!
For those engines no longer in the UK, the work will be organised by the local
distributor of the country concerned.
The serial numbers of Europas which are affected are:-
912UL 4401880 to 4404123
912ULS 4425001 to 4426604
914UL 4417598 to 4417977
