Vapor lock is a function of temperature and total pressure, and of course
the properties of the gasoline itself, but will not be affected by the size
of the lines or the location of the feed. The simple fix is to control the
temperature of the gasoline in the line, i. e., keep the lines away from
sources of heat (increase the distance from the source of heat and/or add
insulation) and provide adequate flow of cooling air.

Will larger internal diameter fuel lines fed from below remain vapor free?
