report on Graham Singleton

I've just heard from Paul Lowe, a Europa builder who was on business
in Stoke today. He is familiar with the North Staffs hospital, as a
relation was cared for there recently after an accident, and so
called in to see if he could visit Graham (who is the appointed
inspector for his aircraft build).

He spent about 15 minutes with Graham and reports that he was
pleasantly surprised to see how well he was looking. He was able to
talk and seemed in quite good spirits. He is propped up so can see
around OK, but not allowed to move much as some spine fractures still
need to be kept immobile. This restriction makes for quite a bit of
discomfort. He is waiting for a decision on a compound fracture of
his ankle - it may need to be pinned.

Graham especially asked that his thanks go out to all those who have
sent messages of encouragement to himself and his family. They have
helped him to recover, and helped all those around him to cope with
the situation.

Paul did not try to visit Isaac; Graham says that although Isaac is
making progress, he thinks Isaac's recovery is at a stage about a
week or more behind his own. (Maybe Isaac could use some more
supportive messages?)

Thanks to Paul for making that visit, and for sharing his positive
news with us.

regards
