I hope to do the wing hardpoint repair this weekend. I have the repair kit
and assorted notes however I find the definition of the forward reference
point a little vague.

Could someone let my know where this point is preferably using the forward
edge of the firewall at the fuselage horizontal joggle line as the
reference.

I will ask the factory on Monday but would like the info before then if
anyone could help.

Dear John,

Forward reference is the rear of the joggle into which the cowlings fit.  In 
other
words, the rear of the cowlings.  Hope this helps.
