Just a short note to say that yesterday (15th August) Graham Singleton carried
out the evaluation flight test on my 914 powered Europa trigear with me onboard.
At gross weight (1370lbs weight upgrade kit fitted) the aircraft was off the
ground
very quickly and climbing at 1000 ft/min into the smooth air over Tatenhill
airfield.
The flight test was very enjoyable ending with Graham carrying out an excellent
short landing on my strip into the setting sun.
Having seen what my Europa is capable of, the long hours spent building, sanding
and painting seem well worthwhile.
A special thanks to Graham for all his help and involvement, and an even more
special
thanks to Graham from my wife for bringing an air of calm to a turbulent
household on Sunday afternoon!
