For anyone interested, there are 2 Europa based Fly-Ins this comming
weekend, weather permitting.
Saturday 7th November at The Orange Grove, Chavenage, Gloucestershire.
This is Martin Stoners strip down near Tetbury located at 5140.08N 00211.86W.
The strip is 600m long 20m wide oriented 26/08 and 550 ft amsl. 26 approach
is good by 08 is over large pylons. All circuits to the south avoiding
flying low over any houses. A verbal brief is available on 01666 504884 and
on arrival listen out on 129.82 but only transmit if you have to.
Sunday 8th November at Sleap 10 miles North of Shrewsbury.
This one has been organised by Sandy and Emile Pels so give them a call on
01824780646 if you are coming (so Emile can prepare enough soup).
Sleap Radio is on 122.45 and the runways are 05/23 at 802m and 01/19 at 775m.
The weather is starting to brighten up, so maybe we will manage to get these
