I think you are right. Our jets are still standard. I suspect lots of folk have
high EGTs and don't know. Ask anyone with a 912 what their plugs are like "dead
white" is the usual answer.
When we have some consistent performance figures we plan on changing the main
jets. They are very cheap from BMW agents.
