Hi all,
My name is Larry Portouw and I am one of the intrigued looking for
money/time/space/..... to build a Europa. (Wife's ready to start now!) I'm
actually in a great location for it- Tampa, FL, just down the road from
Lakeland and Sun-n-fun. We have been here about 3 weeks, bought a house and
are hanging pictures and finishing up move related projects.
I am an Army Officer, and consequently, move quite frequently. This tour
should be a long one (by our standards) of three years. Once the house is
finished and all the boxes are gone we will be making a trip up to Lakeland to
look the Europa over.
I'm a private pilot. Earned my license in high school up in the Rocky
Mountains of Colorado. Quite flying to get career and family launched after
college, and have been flying again now for a few years. Of course, I don't
get as much time as I would like, but who does.
I look forward to following the Europa, and to building and flying one- and
to conversing with those with similar interest.
