Brian, Never mind the radius, just enlarge it a little ON THE SIDES, NOT REDUCING THE DISTANCE TO THE 0.25" HOLE ON TOP!!. The template shall rest on the torque tube, see fig. 5 in the manual. The es
"Years ago" I had my panel fitted out and wired at a U.S. avionics shop. Unfortunately, they never provided a completed wiring diagram, and some of the wires are open ended. I seem to be able to figu
My Rotax 912S has a VDO oil temp sender with a peculiar contact point for the cable to the instrument (in my case Grand Rapids EIS): A thin 1/4" disk on a short pin, all made of brass. The Rotax deal
Thank you, all, for the replies. How can such an apparently intricate "thing" have such a simple solution?! My thought was to use such a standard female connector, which I would probably have done if
Brian, As Paul said, the NACA inlet on the side of the cowling is for the 914. According to Andy Draper, for 912S it should be closed off (if you don't use it for e.g. fresh air inlet to the cockpit)
"Interesting" problem - valuable info on solution. Thanks! Do any of you who have experienced this have a shield installed over the exhaust pipes, to prevent direct radiation onto the banjos/fuel lin
