I too have been researching the comms. for some time. The Garmin SL40 doesn't support 8.33 but does talk to the MGL Efis that i'm fitting. (change frequency from the Efis screen) The XCom 760 doesnt

I had already looked at the MGL VHF 10, it too doesn't appear to support 8.33 channel spacing and is stuck on 25KHz, maybe 8.33 is not that important... It talks to the Efis though, Steve. Read this
