After sending the mail on frequency related reception problems, I looked back through my recent flight plans. I discovered that the Le Touquet tower frequency is 118.45. It works perfectly. Oh well!

Mike, Whilst most are Icom 200's, the problem does not seem to be limited to them. Fred F is suggesting an antenna problem, maybe one which unique to the manual's installation procedure. At this time
