Why do you need one? Many of the old 28v turn and slip instruments work happily on 12v and the regulator is likely to be electrically noisy. I thought RD Aviation sold a ready-built converter? Duncan

True. But oil temperature is measured on the Rotax downstream of the oil cooler. So, given that the cooler is dropping temperatures by about 15C (at least it does on mine) then oil temps of 85C or so
