I think that safety wiring or replacing the brass compression nut with a stainless steel one might not be a bad idea.

I would recomend Superfil for filler and SmothePrime with UV block applied with a roller as recomended. Don't waste your time mixing your own filler, do a small sample of each & sand it...huge differ

Sounds like vapor lock, how well are yor fuel lines insulated? I had a similar problem with my 914 and wrapping the fuel lines was the fix.

About 2 weeks ago when the OAT was over 100=B0F I had an over temp alarm on my EFIS for about 1 minute before the temps dropped back into normal range, the next flight was 21 days later for 1.2 hrs.

I am using the Evans coolant and I think I'll pull off the gear box and send it to Lockwood as it has 350+hrs on it and KP recommends interim service for extended life.

Try the ones from AS, cant remember the brand name , they were self adhesive/epoxied on and worked pretty good or scuff sand a nylon one and 5 min epoxy works well.

I tried 18 psi and found it too mushy for me. I inflate to 24psi,have 360hrs on the same tire & original tube, no problem yet. Sam N77EU

You want a brass 1/8" mpt compression coupling,avail at any Home Depot. You may need to open the hole for the probe though.
