I have 5-6cm square hinged flaps cut into the sides of the fairings, secured
with
a single screw into a captive nut.

There is just enough room to get you fingers through the hole after you rotate
the wheel so the valve lines up.

If you have the valve caps which have the six sided flats then you can use a
small
socket to undo/do up but not too tight.

I then have an extension tube which I screw on to the valve to allow me to
connect
a standard hand pump of electric pump to inflate.

I tend to carry a bicycle pump, which is lightweight, in the aircraft for
topping
up on trips when needed.

to remove the wheel fairings ? I want to make a little hole but it seems it will
be difficult to screw or unscrew the valve cap.
