As Europa Aviation is unapproved, in respect to formal POA and DOA
accreditations
they are not compelled to operate under a quality system that would otherwise
force them to justify non-compliances.
in the circumstances (where Swift is trying to become an aircraft company) you
would have thought that engineering quality procedures might have been trialled
(or even fully implemented) at Europa as well.
Incorrect supply of parts is a major non-compliance and could lead to
catastrophic
incidents.
Lets hope that Dave is implementing suitable QAS into Swift and this will seep
down into Europa.
My own experience shows that implementing similar (same) QAS across companies
has
a number of operational benefits, not least of which you can Move resources
(human) around knowing that people do not need to align themselves with (yet
another) QAS.
