I found that l had accidentally left the power on and the Red Top 25 battery is
now reading a static voltage of 5.6v.  Attempts to charge it fail (using 
'intelligent'
chargers does not seem to help).  Anyone know a way of recovery it?

I checked the spec on the Varley website, apparently it is 7kg.  If l need to 
buy
a replacement l would consider a LiFe battery instead and save a few kg.

Any advise on the use of LiFe with the standard Rotax 912S charging circuits?
