Hi Graeme,
If the fuselage is filled and painted, cut away the overlapping part of the
lower cowl, if not filled yet, cut a ''window'' into the firewall joggle,
tape the cowl with packing tape [ to release] and fit both cowls together,
and do a 6 Bid lay up to close off the hole.
Nev.

Whats the best way to handle the extra thickness where the top and bottom c
owl
ver lap and bolt onto the firewall side. The extra thickness looks naff. I
was
oing to bolt through them both but I could remove the lower cowl for an inc
h or
o and bolt through the top or bolt through both by making a slot in the
uselage about an 1/8th deep. Views?
