with this?<< It has no precise melting point. It starts to go soft around 130 deg C. At 200 deg it is very floppy and if there is any water absorbed this will start to boil off causing blistering. G

Don't do it! That "pleasant smell" you mention is phosgene, a poison gas used in WW-I and subsequently banned by the Geneva Convention. I'm serious. Learned about it the hard way after trying to make
