Good pumps should "flow through" when inactive (I don't know if the Facet pumps do this) but if in doubt, hook them up in parallel with a non-return valve at the outlets -available from Goodrich UK

I've got the standard Facet Europa fuel pump and filter. Seems to be no problem - the engine starts ! Thing is it's very noisy - could be normal, these things are very subjective, pop into jag-lovers
