I would suggest as close to the antennas as possible. I have done that in my Hummelbird (no other place was physically possible), and they work absolutely fantastic - love them. cheers, Pete y nstall

Pete, We mounted Creighton Smith=92s in the panel on the curved side and used the existing coax. Less wiring changes. Works fine. Don=92t ask about the ADS-B upgrade. You have to go back to the 90=92
Hi Bud, I was throwing my opinion in on the box location (I have them in my HB :-) LOL about the software update.... I lost 1 month on my HB because my local trig dealer couldnt update my transponder
Yep, If my son wasn't a programmer, I would have sent it to Trig also. My obser vation was he got the update to take by completely wiping while, disconnect ed, then flashing the chip, and only then w
