Rick, I understand that the hinges are anodized but you might want to Alodine the cut edges. The product I found here in the states is a one from DuPont 225Scleaner and 226S Alodine. Craig A205

I too used the crosses the fuselage for marking the centers for the tailplane torque tube and found mine off slightly(4mm) when measured from the firewall per manual. Good to check though. Easy to ad
