I have tested it in full up and down trim conditions. It's a bit of pull or push, but you can do it if necessary. Better to have a pullable breaker or switch to disconnect the trim in an emergency. J

Tom, We replaced the filler hoses in our demonstrators for that reason. ALL the hoses bled fuel vapors. For the filler I used a red-stripe fuel line used on fuel trucks. Got it at Amazon hose in Tamp
