obviously Ken Bryan has never flown a Europa! I would like to invite him to visit us at Bidford and experience the magic of this aircraft .After a year and 150 hours I still cant leave it alone ! and

The turning circle is rather better in practise than it would appear. I have never actually measured it but a 180 degree turn to back track a very narrow runway is quite easy. As for parking we find

Cannot understand the need for a BRS fitted to a Europa as any problems have occured less than five feet from the ground! Maybe an ejector seat would be more appropriate...Miles I can assure you its

Thanks Rolph, my comments re BRS were slightly tongue in cheek but having read the Pilot article I could not get enthusiastic about a vertical descent at `1300 fpm. My concern would be adding more we

To add a little to this subject many of the landing problems I have seen have involved a flare at 5 or 6 feet. This seems a problem at any speed, to slow and it drops .to fast and it is very difficul
